General Information

The Chair of Electron Devices (LEB) is dealing with applied research in the fields of technology and manufacturing of electron devices. The main focus of the chair’s research is the development, characterization, and simulation of new manufacturing processes and devices as well as the development and optimization of equipment and materials for micro and nanoelectronics.
The Chair of Electron Devices maintains a cleanroom facility with a total laboratory area of about 1000 square meters. The chair cooperates closely with the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Systems and Device Technology IISB, which is headed by the chair holder in personal union.
